Franzen Organ Series: Dr. Ian Pritchard
Join internationally acclaimed harpsichordist and musicologist Ian Pritchard, a master of historical keyboard practice who has performed with ensembles such as the Academy of Ancient Music, the Los Angeles Philharmonic, and Florilegium. With a career that spans prestigious prizes and performances across Europe and the Americas, Pritchard brings depth, elegance, and scholarly insight to the stage.
The program will feature music by Frescobaldi, Trabaci, Merulo, and Mayone.
An Evening of New Music
The recital program includes two new organ pieces among other original compositions in partial fulfillment of Lucas Sprague’s Bachelors of Music degree at California Lutheran University.
